Bukit Tinggi (Part 2)
21 November 2006, Tuesday
Good Morning
Day 2 was a little more difficult as Aiden started to act up after his 9am feed. He actually woke up at 530am (as usual) for his middle of the night feed but refused to go back to sleep. So we let him play by himself (cause I was so sleepy) until bath time at 830 before his first day feed.
Here he is in action (we did not bring his bath tub so we had to use the sink !!):
Breakfast
We were having breakfast when Aiden decided to show his true colours – screaming and screaming at the Coffee House when I tried to put him to sleep, which took me a good 20 minutes ~ aiyoyo, so embarrassing. He finally went to sleep and I finally got to eat around 1020am …
All of us dutifully trooped back to the room so that he could nap for awhile before we attempted the Japanese Garden
Japanese Garden - 2nd attempt
We finally got to the gardens around 11am...okay no garden pictures but one of the koi pond
Rabbit Farm
Quite a disappointment here as it was drizzling when we got there and all the rabbits were burrowed in their hidey holes (made of hay). There was only 1 measly rabbit out, of which I quickly took a picture with when the rain stopped.
In Summary:
Holidays will never ever be the same as to when it was just me and Lou Kong. Now with a baby in tow, our schedule revolves around his sleeping and eating time. Don't expect to get much out of holidays (sight seeing and all the adventurous stuff) at this stage. But we certainly had an unexplainable kind of fulfilment and joy just by spending time with our bundle of joy.
