Sleeping Position & Sucking Thumb

This is what happens when he learnt to flip, wriggle, shake & stretch. We use to have only the upper portion of the cot padded with the cot bumper. Nowadays, Aiden will wriggle his body all the way to the lower portion of the cot, hence his legs caught in between the wooden rungs. Last week, we caught him on his tummy with both legs sticking out. He woke up crying in this position….So we finally decided to pad all four sides of his baby cot!

Here he is, at it again at 8am this morning, on my bed when I was getting ready for work:
H~E~L~P~....dont want him to have this habit of sucking thumb, but he seems to prefer it over his "chut chut" (pacifier)

Though it's a bad habit, i always like to see babies sucking their thumb, it's so cute!
before you know it, the whole fist will be in his mouth *lol*
I suppose sucking his own thumb is still better than sucking a pacifier. Somemore looks cuter! :-)
hehe yah..they like to wriggle all over when sleeping, that's why gotta put the sleeping bag
haha, yes yes... pillow and blanket is of no use!!! they kick and wriggle end up dunno where... But yeah, pad all 4 sides is the best...
and the thumb sucking... hehehe... rachel still sucking her index and middle finger instead of thumb... i don't know why... with her, i will normally pull it out everytime i see it, to limit her habit...
It's pretty natural though for babies to suck thumb.
Zara too was a thumb sucker.. she weaned herself off at about 18mths.

Yeah I have the sleepbag too but am afraid it may be too hot for him. Do you use it for Vyktore too?

I sudah give up. I pull out the thumb and next second it goes back in. Then I tried to hold right hand but his left thumb masuk pulak....If I hold both hands, he will wriggle around and get irritated...hahaha

Hopefully can wean off yah? I hear that it's easier with a pacifier, cause you cant take the thumb away...
OMG!!! He's just sooooo adorable! =) And yes, the blanket and pillow are always of no use. Aiden is still breastfeeding?
ayo my Kylie is also major thumb sucking but only when she's holding her comfort bolster..
