3-D Sculptor
08 December 2006, Friday I had forgotten to take my camera along to capture the process...aiyo really regret liao.
Oh I'm so excited!! I've waited with great anticipation to collect this for many weeks now wondering how it will turn out. Wanna see what we did for our little prince? Read on....
I stumbled upon 3-D sculpturing for babies and adults via The Baby Loft. The concept is not new, I'm sure most of you have seen this before in shopping malls where you could dip your hand into wax and voila, no sooner than 5 minutes, you've encasted your hand.
And the result……………
We absolutely lurved it. Aiden was 18 weeks when we got his foot and hand (fist) encasted. You could always do it for new-born, I thought that would have been nice. And the lady sculptor was very nice, because the first time Aiden had his hand molded, it didn’t quite come out right, and she patiently did it all over again. The material or clay (felt more like plastersine) used for molding is really soft as we could see all the fine lines on his foot and hand, including his nails too.
I would recommend for those who would like to have a keepsake of their child, as this is also the only time you could see their tiny fingers and toes. It’s that feeling that you have being a first time parent (mum or dad) and you want to do almost anything and everything for your baby. *guilty*

nice nice
but u didn't tell us how much u paid for it leh!!!!!!!!
aiks cant quite remember but I think approx RM170. There are several options that you can choose from, and you cant also opt for without a photo
I think I can't afford this - I have spent so much on clothes and other accessories *lol*. If I do it, I'll have to do it for every kid I have - to be fair to everyone
So nice!
I tried this for Jo before, but is the normal wax one, unfortunately, the wax can't last long as it's getting melted now. I think your one is better, for other people, don't opt the wax one, it just wasting your money.
nice nice...
Hehe. So cute! I don't think Irfan would be able to stay quiet for long. Hahahaha!
